Honoring Artemisia: The Ancient Herb at the Heart of Healing

Artemisia vulgaris (Ai Ye), a key herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine, is best known for its role in moxibustion, where it’s burned near acupuncture points to warm the body, improve circulation, and move Qi.

Often used alongside acupuncture, it enhances treatment for chronic pain, fatigue, digestive disorders, and cold-related conditions. Artemisia is especially valued in women’s health, supporting menstrual regulation, fertility, and postpartum recovery. With its natural anti-inflammatory and blood-regulating properties, it remains a powerful tool in promoting balance and restoring the body’s innate healing abilities.

At our clinic, we specialize in individualized, one-on-one care rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Each session is customized to your specific needs and health goals, combining acupuncture with supportive therapies for deeper healing.

Alongside fine needle acupuncture, we often incorporate moxibustion using Artemisia vulgaris (mugwort) to enhance circulation, warm the body, and strengthen the therapeutic effect. This gentle heat therapy is particularly effective for conditions involving cold, stagnation, or chronic pain, and is also widely used in women's health, digestive support, and immune regulation.
